Kanguva Box Office Day 6: Suriya's Film Earns ₹60 Crore in India

Kanguva, by Tamil actor Suriya and director Siva, earned Rs 3 crore apiece on Monday (November 18) and Tuesday (November 19). Kanguva generated over Rs 60 crore nett in India in six days. The film has been poorly regarded since its November 14 release. Kanguva may gain momentum over the weekend.

Kanguva failed the Monday test after falling roughly 70% on November 18. On Day 6, November 19, the film grossed Rs 3.15 crore, similar to Day 5 numbers. Kanguva is holding well, but its second weekend collection must rise to stay in theaters.

Kanguva has earned Rs 59.90 crore nett in six days at the domestic box office. India saw 12.79% occupancy for the Tamil version on November 19.

Kanguva opened slowly in theaters. Film reviews were divided from its first Indian and international screenings. The developers cut 12 minutes of material and fixed loud audio issues after receiving unfavorable comments.

The edited Kanguva premiered in theaters on November 19.

Kanguva stars Bobby Deol, Disha Patani, and Suriya in two parts. Siva directed. The film, produced by Studio Green and UV Creations, cost roughly Rs 350 crore.
