Sivakarthikeyan and Sai Pallavi’s recent release, Amaran, is holding rock steady in theatres in its second week. The film, directed by Rajkumar Periasamy, grossed over Rs 250 crore worldwide and is still running successfully across the globe. Amaran had a phenomenal second weekend at the box office and earned over Rs 30 crore nett in two days in India. Since Monday (November 11), the film has been seeing a gradual dip during the weekdays, which is expected. Many theatre owners claim that shows are running houseful in Tamil Nadu.

The biographical film, based on the life of Major Mukund Varadarajan, has been earning around Rs 5 crore nett for the past two days. According to tracking website Sacnilk, the film earned approximately Rs 5 crore nett in India on November 12, Tuesday.

The 13-day total collection of Amaran now stands at Rs 164.45 crore nett at the domestic box office. Globally, the film reportedly crossed Rs 250 crore in less than two weeks.
